Frequently Asked Questions
How do I dilute my Essential oil?
Use a Carrier Oil, such as Jojoba Oil, Fractionated Coconut oil, or Almond oil, to name a few. To make a 1 oz amber glass bottle( This type of bottle is best to store your essential oil mixture in) put 15-30 drops of your favorite Essential Oil in your bottle. Then fill the bottle the rest of the way with your Carrier Oil of choice. Stir or shake until the oils are incorporated. You can use it right away, but for the best results, you should allow the two oils a week to be fully incorporated into one oil.
How should I store my essential oils?
It’s best to store essential oils in dark glass, away from light and heat. It’s also important to keep oils out of reach of children—even if they have a childproof cap.
How long do essential oils last?
Most oils have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. Some oils, like citrus scents, degrade much faster and have a shelf life closer to 12 to 18 months. However, oils like patchouli, frankincense, and sandalwood can actually last more than five years when stored in proper conditions.
